Former Met officer: I’m worried about Braverman’s language
Former Met police chief superintendent Dal Babu says he was “quite shocked” by the home secretary’s comments in an article she published, accusing police officers of political bias, adding that what she said was “factually incorrect”.
He goes on to say that he is “quite worried about her language” whilst “in one of the great offices of state”.

Three adults and a child have been injured in a shooting near a restaurant in Hackney. The Metropolitan Police said the child is in a serious condition and that they are awaiting updates on the condition of the adults after the shooting on Kingsland High Street in Dalston.
