The Office for National Statistics said estimated net migration stood at a provisional 672,000 in the year to June 2023, up from 607,000 in the previous 12 months.
And the total for the year to December 2022 has been revised to 745,000, meaning it broke all previous records.

The UK economy recorded no growth in April, according to the Office for National Statistics. Gross domestic product was flat during the month, following growth of 0.4% in March, the ONS said.
