Transport Secretary hails flight using sustainable fuel
The first transatlantic flight to use 100% sustainable aviation fuel has taken off from Heathrow Airport for JFK in New York.
Transport Secretary Mark Harper said it's an "important first step as it shows Britain is ambitious about decarbonising aviation." Mr Harper also revealed plans for new legislation which will ensure all flights have at least 10% sustainable fuel by 2030.
