Watch the shocking moment a far-right lawmaker uses a fire extinguisher to put out Jewish menorah candles.
It happened during Hanukkah celebrations at the Polish parliament on Tuesday.
After the incident Braun said "Those who take part in acts of satanic worship should be ashamed."
Braun then took to the chamber’s podium and insisted that he was restoring “normality”.
The incident has sparked outrage and has been denounced by all of Poland’s major political parties.
The speaker of the parliament excluded Braun from the sitting and described the act as “absolutely scandalous”.
He also reported Braun to prosecutors and announced that he will lose half of his salary for three months.
Polands newly elected Prime Minister Donald Tusk has described the incident as a ‘disgrace’.
He added such a thing should never be repeated.
