China Earthquake: CCTV camera footage shows the moment 6.2-magnitude quake hit Gansu | Oneindia

A devastating earthquake in Northwest China has resulted in a death toll of at least 116 people.

Disturbing footage from CCTV cameras captured the moment when the earthquake struck, causing widespread destruction.

The tremor, initially reported as a magnitude 5.9 by the US Geological Survey, occurred in Gansu province around midnight.

However, Gansu's provincial emergency management department later assessed the earthquake as measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale.
