A former Russian television journalist Yekaterina Duntsova has thrown her hat into the ring for the upcoming presidential election.
The 40-year-old former TV journalist has officially entered the Russian presidential race.
She submitted the necessary documents to the Central Electoral Commission, making her the first candidate to challenge Vladimir Putin in the March election.
Russian and Chinese naval forces have commenced a series of joint military exercises, titled 'Maritime Joint-2024,' in the Pacific Ocean. The three-day drills, which began near the Chinese city of Zhanjiang, aim to enhance the naval forces' capability to address security threats, maintain international and regional stability, and strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations, according to a statement from Beijing's Defense Ministry.
