Pretty much anyone who has been to Hong Kong will be familiar with the infamous Chungking Mansions (重慶大廈).

During my recent trip to Hong Kong I decided to stop in just to see what things are like these days.

I can report that I got a WHOLE lot more than I bargained for when I first entered.

I met people from many different countries in there, but the one person that left the deepest impression on me was Michael from the Congo.

Michael was quite aggressive toward me at first and at one point I thought things might even get physical.

How did we go from THAT to eating jollof rice together and drinking a beer?
