Mumbai Police disclosed that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and banks like HDFC and ICICI received a bomb threat via email.

The sender, demanding the resignation of RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, claimed to have planted bombs at 11 Mumbai locations.
