The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has given the green light to the sale of 155 mm artillery shells and related equipment to Israel without the usual congressional review process.
The decision was announced by the Pentagon earlier on Saturday.

At least 23 Palestinians were killed as Israel continues its bombardment of the enclave. The IDF says its military operations in the south of the enclave are continuing with its forces finding success in dismantling Hamas networks.
