Boosted 408 LS first drive, with burnouts and cops on my ass

Short video documenting the first actual drive of our boosted 408 LS in the 1980- Ford Thunderbird ( Fox body ).

We make sure that oil pressure is good and all systems are functioning as expected.

Also verification that the tune on our Terminator X-max is close to correct, and will run the car on our first start.

I go around the block a couple of times and make sure that the turbo spools, with the car responding as expected.

Since this is a larger displacement LS (408 ) it should spool that 76/75 T4 turbo charger very quickly.

This is verified in our video as the throttle response is instant with the turbo audibly spooling as the throttle is depressed.

( I didn't put more than a 1/4 throttle input into all the burnouts, also got off the throttle very quickly as this was the first official test run of the car ).

Towards the end of the video as expected the police are on my ass...lol... Wish I had the scene where I was talking to the officer, but the glasses cam failed for those scenes...sorry guys as that was good footage.

In conclusion this was a very successful first test run as all systems worked as expected.

More video's to come and hopefully they will be more informative and exciting .
