The Michigan Republican Party Trust - the owners of the state party headquarters - have filed their response to Kristina Karamo's lawsuit against them, calling the claims meritless and frivolous, asserting that the building was never owned by the Michigan Republican Party, and asking the court to sanction the state party and pay their legal bills.
Because the party is an unincorporated organization, they note that every state committee member should be liable for these costs.
