Covid Update: China warns of potential resurgence of Covid driven by JN.1 subvariant | Oneindia News
Chinese health authorities issued a warning on Sunday about a potential resurgence of COVID-19 in January, citing the increasing prevalence of the JN.1 subvariant.
Despite current low case rates and a positive test rate below one percent at surveillance points, the National Health Commission (NHC) emphasized the growing prominence of JN.1.
Additionally, the NHC highlighted the likelihood of multiple respiratory diseases spreading during the upcoming winter and spring seasons.
