Father and two-year-old son found dead at house in Skegness

An urgent inquiry is underway tonight, after a two year old boy was found dead beside the body of his father, at a flat in Skegness.

It's thought the little boy, Bronson Battersby, may have starved to death after his father suffered a fatal heart attack.

The grim scene was discovered on January 9th, when a social worker was let into the property by its landlord.

Lincolnshire Police has referred itself to the police watchdog, after it emerged officers were contacted on two separate occasions, by social workers trying to gain access to the flat.
