NBC reports that Tesla will recall approximately 200,000 vehicles over a software glitch that could cause rearview cameras to display incorrectly.

.

In a document posted on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's website, Tesla said that impacted models include 2023 versions of Models S, X and Y.

According to Tesla, a free over-the-air (OTA) software update has been released to address the potential issue.

.

Owners can reportedly expect notification letters of the changes to be mailed by March 22, 2024.

NBC reports that this is the 15th Tesla recall in the last year.

.

Issues related to Tesla's Autopilot driver-assist feature prompted the company to recall over 2 million vehicles, impacting nearly the entire U.S. fleet.

Earlier this week, Tesla warned of slower sales in 2024, while highlighting increased competition from China's BYD electric carmaker.
