Two men arrested after six migrants found in lorry

Two men have been arrested after six migrants were found in the back of a lorry at Newhaven ferry port.

Air ambulance crews and Border Force crews responded to the incident.

Both men are in custody and those found in the back of the lorry have taken to hospital.

Sussex Police say one suspect has been detained on suspicion of people smuggling, the other of entering the UK illegally, and that there are no fatalities.
