The three-day drills, which began near the Chinese city of Zhanjiang, aim to enhance the naval forces' capability to address security threats, maintain international and regional stability, and strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations, according to a statement from Beijing's Defense Ministry. Two vessels from Russia’s Pacific Fleet are participating in the exercises, as reported by the fleet’s press office on Monday via TASS. The participating crews are set to conduct a range of activities, including air defence exercises, drills involving anti-submarine aviation, resupply operations while underway, and sea rescue training.
