At least one person was found dead and several others were injured Wednesday night following a shooting in Orlando, Florida, police said.

At approximately 11:00 p.m.

Orlando Police officers responded to the area of Iron Wedge Drive and South Lake Orlando in reference to several shots fired.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers from the Orlando Police Department were met with a scene of chaos and distress.

Multiple victims lay wounded, their lives forever altered by the senseless violence that had erupted in their midst.

Tragically, one individual was discovered deceased, underscoring the devastating toll of the incident on the community.
