Israeli strike in south Lebanon kills Hezbollah fighters
An Israeli strike on a car in south Lebanon kills three Hezbollah fighters, a security source says, the latest in almost five-months of escalating cross-border fire between the Iran-backed group and Israel.
Since war erupted between Israel and Gaza-based Palestinian militant group Hamas on October 7, Hezbollah has been launching near-daily attacks from Lebanon into northern Israel in support of its ally Hamas, while Israel has been striking south Lebanon.
