Zelenskyy Motorcade Attack: Russian missile strike hits near Zelensky motorcade in Odessa | Oneindia
In a chilling turn of events, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky narrowly escaped a Russian missile strike targeted at him on Wednesday.
The incident unfolded in the bustling Black Sea port city of Odessa, where Zelensky was holding discussions with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Miraculously, neither Zelensky nor any members of the Greek delegation sustained injuries, despite the missile landing perilously close, approximately 500 feet away, as reported by Greek officials to the Protothema news outlet.
However, the Ukrainian presidential office remained silent in response to inquiries.
In this video, we discuss the recent strike by the Iskander complex reported by the Russian Defense Ministry. According to their statement, two Patriot anti-aircraft missile launchers and a Giraffe radar were destroyed near Yuzhnoye in the Odessa region. Join us as we analyze the implications of this military action and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Ukraine’s top commander, Aleksandr Syrsky, is reportedly ready to lay down arms and capitulate to Russia, according to a claim made by a lawmaker from President Vladimir Zelensky’s party. The claim was made by MP Mariana Bezuglaya from the ‘Servant of the People’ party, who is also the deputy chair of the National Security, Defense, and Intelligence Committee.
Syrsky, who became Ukraine’s highest-ranking general in early February, succeeded Valery Zaluzhny, the former general who oversaw last year’s unsuccessful attempts to repel Russian forces. Bezuglaya accused Syrsky and Zaluzhny of secretly colluding to prevent a Ukrainian victory, stating that the two generals belong to a “generals’ mafia” that is more interested in protecting their own privileges than in defeating Russia.

Ukraine's Navy chief, Admiral Aleksey Neizhpapa, has called for Western submarines to enhance Ukraine's Black Sea capabilities. He emphasized the need for smaller submarines suited to the region, aiming to expand Ukraine's naval presence beyond coastal areas. This request comes amid ongoing Western military aid, though concerns about delivery delays persist. Ukraine has already impacted Russian naval operations, forcing fleet relocations and damaging key bases.
