Anya Taylor-Joy is seeking vengeance against Chris Hemsworth in the latest trailer for 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.'
The fifth film in George Miller's dystopian action epic, 'Furiosa,' is a prequel to 2015's Oscar-winning hit 'Mad Max: Fury Road' and stars Taylor-Joy in the title role, the character of which was previously played by Charlize Theron.
The new film centers on Furiosa, who is abducted in her younger years by Warlord Dementus, played by Hemsworth, and prepares herself to find her way back home to the Green Place of Many Mothers.
The box office performance of 'Furiosa' has put the brakes on George Miller's next 'Mad Max' movie. The revered filmmaker's 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga' bowed to a disappointing $32 million domestically for the four-day Memorial Day weekend and $36.5 million overseas, diminishing hopes for 'Mad Max: The Wasteland,' another 'Mad Max' installment that Miller has been toying with for years.

Oscar-winning actor, producer and prominent Democratic Party fundraiser George Clooney wrote an op-ed published in The New York Times Wednesday praising President Biden, but arguing that Democrats need a new nominee and calling for Mr. Biden to exit the 2024 race hours after senior Democrat Nancy Pelosi swerved questions about whether he should continue. Clooney wrote in The New York Times that it was "devastating to say it" but the Biden he met at a fundraising event three weeks ago was not the "'Joe 'big ****ing deal' Biden of 2010. He wasn't even the Joe Biden of 2020."
