'Euphoria' Season 3 Filming Delayed, HBO Still Targeting 2025 Return | THR News Video
Filming for 'Euphoria' season three has been put on hold.
The Sam Levinson drama was expected to start production soon on its long-awaited new season, but production has hit pause on those plans.
The timeline on production has now been pushed back to give Levinson more time to work on the dark teen drama's scripts.
In addition, the show's cast — which stars Zendaya and an all-star cast including Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi — is being allowed to pursue other opportunities.
Brian Cox thinks cinema is "in a very bad way," and saying movies like 'Deadpool & Wolverine' are to blame. The legendary actor who earned critical acclaim for his role in HBO's 'Succession' – spoke at an Edinburgh International Film Festival panel and cited the latest MCU installment 'Deadpool & Wolverine' as a great example of cinematic "party time."

HBO's 'House of the Dragon' has been hit with another online leak ahead of its season two finale. Dozens of clips from the eighth episode and final episode, were illegally uploaded to TikTok less than a week before the finale was set to drop on August 4th. ComicBook.com reported that the clips appeared to be captured by someone filming a screen with a secondary device.

Jenna Ortega almost had Zendaya's role in the 'Dune' films. The 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' actress said in a recent Buzzfeed interview that she was pretty sure she went out for the role when she was 15 and auditioned for a part in the film. "I think it was Chani, I think it was Zendaya's. But they weren't saying that, everything was very secret." Ortega added that she remembers being "really excited" for the possible opportunity citing Denis Villeneuve as "one of my favorite filmmakers."

We finally know when HBO's 'Euphoria' will head back into production. After a very long hiatus, filming on the drama's third season is slated to begin in January 2025 — just about three years after the premiere of season two. HBO says the whole principal cast is set to return, including stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and Hunter Schafer. An airdate hasn't been set, yet, but it's unlikely that 'Euphoria' will be ready to go before late next year, which would mean a gap of up to four years between seasons.

Sydney Sweeney is giving fans an update about 'Euphoria' season 3. During a conversation with Cosmopolitan, the star opened up about the season three time jump and returning to the character three years after last playing her in 2022. “We did have a long time between season one and season two, but especially now with the time jump, it’s a new process for me. I’m kind of just learning as I go and being open for whatever's to come. But I’m also really excited. I love Cassie. She is always such a thrilling character to play, so I’m really looking forward to what’s gonna happen in her life."
