Labour’s Lisa Nandy defends Angela Rayner after it emerged that Greater Manchester Police said it will reassess its decision not to investigate allegations the party’s deputy leader gave false information regarding the sale of her house in 2015.
The shadow cabinet minister for international development says, “Angela has been clear that she’s taken legal and tax advice and believes she has done absolutely nothing wrong”.

Sir Keir Starmer said the UK must "double down" it's support for Ukraine after returning from the G20 summit in Brazil. Addressing the House of Commons on Thursday, the prime minister said it "could not be more clear" that "this is a man that wants destruction, not peace".
"After 1,000 days of war, I am clear that we must double down in our support. We will not be deterred or distracted by reckless threats," he added.

Shadow defence secretary James Cartlidge has responded to speculation that Ukraine has fired UK-supplied Storm Shadow missiles at targets inside Russia for the first time.
