Jalpaiguri Storm: Guwahati airport roof partially collapses due to storm, no injuries | Oneindia

During a fierce storm and torrential rain, a section of the ceiling at Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, Assam, collapsed on Sunday, causing the diversion of six flights.

Officials reported that airport operations returned to normal by Monday.

The incident prompted a 45-minute suspension of activities at the airport, with six flights redirected to Agartala and Kolkata.

Normal operations resumed, allowing the flights to return to Guwahati once more.
