Delhi is bracing for a surge in intense heat as April progresses, with the mercury forecasted to reach a scorching 40 degrees Celsius within the next week, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Monday is anticipated to see the maximum temperature climb to 37 degrees Celsius, marking a two-notch increase from the preceding day, while the minimum is projected to settle at 17.4 degrees.
