Moon bear cubs recover after historic rescue in Laos
Police in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, rescued 16 endangered moon bear cubs on March 19.
Officials said they raided a house owned by a Chinese national and his Lao wife in response to reports from concerned neighbours, with the cubs now getting round-the-clock care at a sanctuary run by Free The Bears.
