Iran has firmly rejected the European Unionâs renewed call for nuclear talks, with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi slamming the Westâs stance as âhypocriticalâ and âlegally baseless.â Araghchi accused EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas of disregarding international law and supporting Israeli aggression in the region. Citing the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and UNSC Resolution 2231, Tehran insists it has the right to develop nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. Araghchi further declared the EU and UK irrelevant in future negotiations and warned that Western pressure will only deepen mistrust. As tensions rise and the JCPOA framework continues to unravel, is the door to diplomacy closing for good?
