In an interview with CBS News on Sunday, Stoltenberg, who is set to step down in October, clarified that there is no definitive timeline for Ukraineās NATO membership, even suggesting it might not occur within the next decade. Stoltenberg was questioned about his preference for Ukraine to join NATO by 2034 rather than within the next few years. He responded, āWell, no one has said exactly 10 years but itās obvious that it is a very serious issue to bring in Ukraine,ā emphasising the complexity of integrating a nation currently embroiled in war.
