Thousands of Palestine supporters join march in London

"Hundreds of thousands" of people descended on London for a pro-Palestinian march on Saturday, as the Metropolitan Police warns months of protest have caused "fear and uncertainty" in Jewish communities.

The event, organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), began at Parliament Square from 12pm and is expected to draw larger crowds as the day goes on.

Netanyahu-Biden Tensions Grow: Israel takes control of Rafah crossing despite US warnings |Oneindia

President Biden urgently cautioned Prime Minister Netanyahu against launching an offensive in Gaza's southern city of Rafah, fearing it would escalate the conflict and increase Palestinian casualties. Their call highlighted the growing divide between the two leaders amid mounting pressure for a ceasefire. Biden emphasised the need to avoid further despair in the war-torn region. Both leaders face public outcry, with Biden encountering protests on college campuses and Netanyahu under pressure from families of Israeli hostages. #Israel #Biden #Netanyahu #RafahCrossing #USWarnings #IsraelHamasWar #Tensions #Geopolitics #MiddleEast #Diplomacy ~PR.152~ED.194~GR.124~HT.96~

Big Win For Hamas In Rafah?: Despite Killing Of 4 IDF Soldiers, Netanyahu Orders To Reopen Crossing

Israel announced the reopening of the Kerem Shalom border crossing to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, just four days after its closure following a rocket attack that tragically claimed the lives of four soldiers. In a collaborative effort between the Israeli army and COGAT, the defence ministry body responsible for Palestinian civil affairs, trucks loaded with vital supplies such as food, water, shelter equipment, medicine, and medical supplies, generously donated by the international community, have begun arriving at the crossing from Egypt. These essential supplies will undergo thorough inspection before being transferred to the Gaza side of the crossing, ensuring their safe and efficient delivery to those in need. Additionally, the statement highlighted the reopening of the Erez border crossing between Israel and northern Gaza, further facilitating the flow of aid into the Palestinian territory. This swift response underscores Israel's commitment to addressing the humanitarian needs of the people of Gaza, even in the face of security challenges, and demonstrates a willingness to engage in cooperative efforts to alleviate suffering and promote stability in the region. #Israel #KeremShalom #GazaAid #HumanitarianRelief #RafahAttack #BorderCrossing #PeaceAndAid #MiddleEast #SupportingGaza #UnityInCrisis ~PR.152~ED.102~GR.125~HT.96~

Iraq-Israel Tensions: Iraqi resistance conducts 4th attack on Israeli-occupied territories| Oneindia

The Iraqi resistance recently issued a statement detailing their latest action against the Israeli air base in Eilat. In their announcement, they cited their ongoing commitment to opposing the occupation by the Zionist regime, expressing solidarity with the residents of Gaza, and condemning the killing of Palestinian civilians. This strike marks the fourth assault conducted by the Iraqi resistance on occupied territories within a span of fewer than 12 hours, indicating a heightened level of activity and determination. Earlier on Tuesday, the group had targeted the Israeli base named "Jonathan" in another drone strike, showcasing their persistence in confronting perceived aggressors. Accompanying their declaration, the umbrella group of resistance factions in Iraq also released video footage capturing the moment of their drone attack on the Zionist military's air base in the port of Eilat (Um al-Rasrash), situated south of occupied Palestine. This visual evidence serves to underscore the potency and precision of their actions. The current escalation in attacks by regional resistance groups, including Iraqā€™s Islamic Resistance, underscores a broader trend of defiance against perceived injustices, particularly in the wake of the Israeli military's aggressive actions in Gaza. As such, these strikes represent a tangible expression of resistance against both Israeli and US interests in the region. #Iraq #Israel #Tensions #Resistance #Occupation #Gaza #Solidarity #DroneStrike #Confrontation #RegionalConflict ~PR.152~ED.103~GR.125~HT.96~
