Goldy Brar, the prime suspect in the Murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, has been fatally shot in the US, according to media reports.
According to reports, citing American news channels, Brar, who was declared a terrorist by the Home Ministry, was attacked on Tuesday evening in Fairmont and Holt Avenue.
Unidentified attackers allegedly opened fire on Brar and his buddy as they were standing outside his house and then fled the area.
Two people were taken to the hospital where one of them died.
Salwan Momika, the Iraqi immigrant infamous for desecrating the Qur’an in Sweden, was shot dead in his home in Sodertalje. Police responded to an overnight shooting, finding Momika critically injured. He later died at the hospital, prompting a Murder investigation. Several arrests have been made. Momika, who faced charges of incitement to racial hatred, sparked global outrage with his actions in 2023, leading to diplomatic tensions. His death coincided with a postponed trial verdict. Sweden’s stance on Qur’an burnings has drawn criticism, further escalating tensions.
