'The Fall Guy' is already facing criticism over a distasteful joke in the film.
The David Leitch-directed action-comedy, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt came under fire before its even opened in theaters over a joke about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
Hannah Waddingham's character, Gail Meyer, at one point makes a reference to Depp and Heard's turbulent relationship.
The inaugural Social Impact Summit, co-hosted by The Hollywood Reporter and the Social Impact Fund, honored Feeding America as THR's Philanthropic Organization of the Year. Uzo Aduba, Wilson Cruz, Thomas Sadoski and Julie Bowen were among the celebrities who took part in the event. To kick start the summit, actress and longtime activist Sharon Stone shared an expletive-sprinkled keynote address, where she challenged the audience to see philanthropy in a new light: simply that of love.

Shelley Duvall, the actress known for playing Wendy Torrance in 'The Shining' and starring in numerous Robert Altman films, has died. She was 75. Dan Gilroy, Duvall's life partner since 1989, told The Hollywood Reporter she died in her sleep of complications from diabetes at her home in Blanco, Texas. He said, "My dear, sweet, wonderful life partner and friend left us. Too much suffering lately, now she’s free. Fly away, beautiful Shelley."
