3 (スーパーマリオブラザーズ3 Sūpā Mario Burazāzu Surī?) is a platform video game in the Super Mario series, developed by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) console.
It was released in Japan on October 23, 1988, in North America on February 12, 1990 and in Europe on August 29, 1991, and follows the adventures of plumbers Mario and Luigi who seek to rescue Princess Mushroom and the rulers of the seven kingdoms of the antagonist Bowser.
