We're getting a first look at season 2 of 'The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power.'
Prime Video dropped a teaser trailer, premiere date and story description for the sophomore season of its 'Lord of the Rings' drama series during Amazon's inaugural upfront presentation in New York City.
The season will return fans to J.R.R.
Tolkien's Second Age, and promises to show "the ascending evil presence of Sauron as he continues his vengeful quest for complete power."
The inaugural Social Impact Summit, co-hosted by The Hollywood Reporter and the Social Impact Fund, honored Feeding America as THR's Philanthropic Organization of the Year. Uzo Aduba, Wilson Cruz, Thomas Sadoski and Julie Bowen were among the celebrities who took part in the event. To kick start the summit, actress and longtime activist Sharon Stone shared an expletive-sprinkled keynote address, where she challenged the audience to see philanthropy in a new light: simply that of love.

Amazon shares ended the day up nearly 4%, giving the company a $2.01 trillion stock market valuation. .

Part of that gain can be attributed

This year, Amazon Prime Day will fall
on July 16 and 17, Engadget reports. .
