Crash Bandicoot is a platform video game franchise originally developed by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation console.

The series went through several developers and was published on several platforms later.

The games are of the platform and runner genre with several spin-offs of the racing and group genre.

From the year 2000, it began to be published by Universal Interactive, which later became known as Vivendi Games.

In 2007, Vivendi Games was merged with developer Activision, which currently owns the rights to the series and is the main publisher.
