Slovakia's PM Robert Fico: the target of an assassination attempt
On Wednesday 15 May, shortly after leaving a post-cabinet meeting presser, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was shot multiple times in a politically motivated attack.
Fico remains in critical but stable condition.
His shooting has widely been condemned as an attack on democracy.
