Kevin Spacey is set to be honored with a British indie film award amid his bid for a Hollywood comeback. The Folkestone Independent Film Awards will present Spacey with a best performance trophy for his voice role in the 2023 U.K. action thriller 'Control' on July 20th.

Kevin Spacey is set to receive a Lifetime Achievement award. On July 21, the two-time Oscar-winning actor will be honored with Italy's Nations Award for Lifetime Achievement at a special gala in Taormina in Sicily. At the event, Spacey is also set to give an onstage performance at Taormina's historic Greek Theatre. Organizers of the event noted that the Oscar-winning actor, who faces a new civil trial in the U.K. on sexual assault allegations, "unquestionably deserves the chance to get his career back."
