A deadly stampede during a 'satsang' in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras on Tuesday claimed the lives of 121 people. Many bodies were kept on blocks of ice at a government hospital while grieving relatives waited outside to take them home. The victims were part of a large crowd gathered for a 'satsang' by religious preacher Bhole Baba near Phulrai village in the Sikandrarau area. In a devastating road accident today, at least 18 people lost their lives and many others were injured after the bus they were travelling in collided with another vehicle in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. Among the deceased were three women and one child, police reported. The double-decker bus, which was en route from Bihar’s Sitamarhi to Delhi, crashed into a milk tanker from behind on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway early this morning.
