New 'Jurassic World' Movie Casts Rupert Friend | THR News Video
The brand-new 'Jurassic World' feature has casted another one of its leading roles.
British actor Rupert Friend will star alongside Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey in Universal's new 'Jurassic World' film directed by Gareth Edwards.
David Iacono is the latest actor to join the cast of the new 'Jurassic World' movie. The film's ensemble also includes Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Rupert Friend and Luna Blaise. Gareth Edwards is directing the project that's set to begin production in mid-June in London. As for Iacono, you may recognize the actor as "Cam Cameron" in the wildly popular Amazon Prime Video series 'The Summer I Turned Pretty.'

Scarlett Johansson is opening up about leading the next 'Jurassic World' installment saying she's been trying to get into the franchise for over 10 years. In an interview with Comicbook.com, Johansson said that the opportunity to join 'Jurassic World' was enough for her to jump back into another big Hollywood franchise, after her long tenure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "I'm an enormous 'Jurassic Park' fan. It's one of the first films I remember seeing in the theater. I remember seeing it so vividly. It was like life changing. It was mind-blowing. I cannot express how excited I am."
