'General Hospital' Actor Johnny Wactor Fatally Shot During A Robbery Attempt by Masked Thieves
Tragedy struck early Saturday morning in Los Angeles when actor Johnny Wactor, best known for his role as Brando Corbin on "General Hospital," was fatally shot during an attempted robbery.
The incident occurred around 3:30 AM near West Pico Boulevard and South Hope Street.
Wactor and a colleague encountered three masked thieves attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his car.
According to police and Wactor's mother, despite not putting up a fight, he was shot by one of the suspects, who then fled the scene in a vehicle.
Wactor was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
The LAPD is actively investigating the case, with no arrests made yet.
