John Oliver is joining the growing list of Hollywood notables who have reacted to Donald Trump's guilty verdict in his New York hush money trial.
A jury found the former president guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records after weeks of testimony.
Trump also became the first former president to be convicted of felony crimes.
Oliver reacted to the news on 'Last Week Tonight' opening with, "A New York businessman got into some legal trouble, which was undeniably fun to watch unfold live."
Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump has chosen former critic JD Vance as his vice-presidential nominee. Vance, a 39-year-old Ohio Senator and author, was confirmed as VP pick by RNC delegates.
Despite past criticisms of Trump, Vance has become a strong supporter. After winning his Senate seat with Trump's endorsement in 2022, Vance is now attacking Joe Biden, calling him an "incapacitated president" and accusing Democrats of lying about Biden's health.

Twenty-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who attempted to assassinate former US President Donald Trump over the weekend, purchased rounds of ammunition prior to the shooting, American media reported on Monday, July 15. According to a senior law enforcement official speaking to CNN, Crooks bought 50 rounds of ammunition before targeting Trump at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Although Trump did not sustain severe injuries, he suffered a minor wound on his right ear. Crooks was shot dead by Secret Service agents shortly after he opened fire.
