Lok Sabha 2024: 'Rahul Gandhi should take position of leader of opposition', CWC passes resolution

The Congress Working Committee unanimously requested Rahul Gandhi to take the position of the leader of opposition in Lok Sabha.

KC Venugopal, Congress general secretary, stated that Rahul Gandhi is the best person to lead the campaign in Parliament.

However, when asked if Rahul accepted the role, Venugopal said he would take a decision very soon.

The move comes after the party's performance in the recent general elections.
