Sunak tries to ‘splat the rat’ at Great Ayton village fete
After a doctor confronts Rishi Sunak on arrival, the prime minister receives a mainly warm welcome from punters at a village fete in his constituency.
At the fete in Great Ayton, a North Yorkshire village in Richmond constituency, Mr Sunak meets stall holders, chats with members of the public and plays a game of ‘splat the rat’.
As the prime minister leaves the sunny gathering, a cheeky young boy shouts “hey Rishi, vote Reform UK”.
