Normandy: A US veteran centurion and his fiance say “I do”
100-year-old American veteran Harold Terens married his fiancée Jeanne Swerlin, 96, at the town hall in Carentan-les-Marais, near the beaches where the D-Day landings took place on 6 June 1944.
"It's the best moment of my life,” said Terens after the ceremony, after waving to the crowd on the balcony.
