Taylor Swift Fans Create Seismic Activity in Scotland

Taylor Swift's recent Eras Tour shows in Edinburgh caused seismic activity for three consecutive nights, demonstrating her massive popularity.

This isn't the first time Swift's concerts have literally shaken the earth, as similar events occurred during her Seattle shows in July 2023, where fan reactions generated seismic activity equivalent to a 2.3 earthquake.

The British Geological Survey reported that the Edinburgh concerts produced up to 80 kilowatts of energy, the same as sixteen car batteries.

Fans' enthusiasm, particularly during performances of "Ready For It," "Cruel Summer," and "Champagne Problems," contributed to the seismic events, adding to the unique culture of Swift's concerts where fans also exchange handmade friendship bracelets inspired by her lyrics.
