Israel's War 'Pause' Announcement Day After Hamas Kills 8 IDF Troops: Netanyahu's Rafah Op Failing?
The Israeli military announced a 'tactical pause' in south Gaza to allow humanitarian aid into the embattled enclave on June 16.
In a statement, the IDF said, "A tactical pause of military activity for humanitarian purposes will take place from 8:00 a.m.
To 7:00 p.m.
Every day along the road that leads from the Kerem Shalom crossing to the Salah al-Din road and then northwards." The Israel Defence Forces, however, clarified that the pause should not be seen as a “cessation of hostilities in the southern Gaza Strip." The move came a day after Hamas killed eight Israeli soldiers in Rafah.
