Delegates at the Labour conference have voted for a motion to reverse the winter fuel payment cuts. The vote is non-binding but showed an overwhelming majority voted in favour of reversing the decision to axe the benefit for millions of pensioners. The health secretary has vowed to end "two-tier healthcare" in the NHS in a speech delivered at the Labour conference. Wes Streeting said the NHS has let people down in recent years. "We are the generation that will build a national care service worthy of it's name. That's the change Britain voted for," he said.
