Gag Order on Trump in Hush Money Case Upheld by New York's Highest Court

New York's highest court has made a decision regarding the gag order imposed on former US President Donald Trump in the hush money case, and it looks like the order will remain in effect.

According to a post on the court's decision list, the court has declined to hear Trump's appeal on the gag order.

This means that the order, which was issued by Judge Juan Merchan, will continue to restrict Trump's ability to make public statements about witnesses, jurors, prosecutors, court staff, and their families.

Unfortunately for Trump, he found himself in violation of the gag order not once, but ten times during the early stages of the trial.

As a result, Merchan held him in criminal contempt and fined him $10,000.

The judge even raised the possibility of jailing Trump if he continued to disregard the order.
