Mother of missing teenager says search is a ‘nightmare’

The mother of a British teenager missing in Tenerife has made an emotional plea for help to find him.

Jay Slater, 19, from Lancashire, was last heard from on Monday morning when he told a friend he planned to walk back to his accommodation after missing a bus; a journey expected to take around 11 hours on foot.

Speaking 48 hours after Jay's disappearance, Debbie Duncan says, "he's just an ace person" and that the search for her son is a "living nightmare".
