Eight Little Chicks - Ring Neck Pheasants
I don't see the chicks very often (as in "never").
Nice of them to hang out in clear sight enough to film.
They obviously were a little confused at the giant GMC rolling up ... and thank God their motion caught my eye.
Reminder note to self: must go extra slow as that corridor in the grass draws out a lot of smaller wildlife.
A couple weeks ago I found a flat toad with no recall of seeing it.
I COUNT EIGHT.
