Resistance groups across West Asia have declared their readiness to join the Hezbollah resistance movement in the event of an Israeli war on Lebanon.
This development follows escalating tensions along the Lebanese border with the occupied territories, sparking fears of a broader conflict in the region.
An official from an anti-terror group in Iraq, speaking to The Associated Press, stated, “We will be (fighting) shoulder to shoulder with Hezbollah” if a full-scale war erupts.
The official, along with another from Iraq, revealed that some Iraqi military advisers are already in Lebanon, reinforcing the preparedness of the resistance groups.
Hezbollah carried out seven targeted attacks against Israeli forces in Khiam, Lebanon, using artillery, rockets, and drones, following Israeli incursions that destroyed residential areas. Lebanon's Bekaa Valley suffered heavy casualties, with 22 civilians killed in airstrikes. Over 3,500 Lebanese lives have been lost since October 2023, amid intensified clashes and air raids. Civilian displacement and destruction highlight the human toll of this growing conflict.
