Russia Dagestan Attack: Death Toll Mounts; Five Accused Killed In Counter-Terror Operations

The operation initiated on June 23 in Dagestan has concluded following coordinated attacks on two churches and two synagogues, which resulted in multiple civilian and police casualties.The National Antiterrorism Committee (NAC) announced the completion of the counter-terror operation in the cities of Makhachkala and Derbent.

Armed militants had targeted two Russian Orthodox churches, two synagogues, and police officers in these locations.

According to the NAC, five militants were neutralised—two in Derbent and three in Makhachkala.

The search for accomplices continues.
